Optional analytics
If you allow analytics, I use Microsoft Clarity to understand which projects people explore and where the site could work better. Clarity receives information such as pages visited, referring sites, browser and device details, time on the site, clicks, and scrolling.
Clarity also creates heatmaps and session replays: reconstructions of interactions with this website, not recordings of your camera or the rest of your screen. Form inputs are masked. I don't send Clarity your name, email address, or an account ID.
The Clarity script does not load, and this optional collection does not start, until you choose Accept analytics. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, analytics stays off. This site does not request advertising consent; advertising storage is set to denied.
Change your mind any time
Use Analytics settings here or in the footer to allow or turn off analytics. Turning it off stops future collection on this site and removes its Clarity cookies; the page may reload to finish stopping the recorder. This does not erase data already received by Microsoft.
What stays in your browser
Your analytics choice is saved in local browser storage for up to six months. The site also remembers display preferences such as light or dark mode. These preferences don't require analytics. Choices are separate for each browser and website address, so a choice on kaspo.dev does not automatically apply to daniel.kaspo.dev.
When allowed, Clarity uses cookies to connect page visits into sessions. You can read more about Clarity's data collection, content masking, and Microsoft's privacy practices.
Hosting and links
Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website. It processes network requests to serve pages and keep the site secure; that is separate from the optional Clarity analytics described above. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for more information.
